Dr. Andrea Bock-Kunz has been practicing ophthalmology in Atchison, KS since 2001. She graduated from the Ohio State University College of Medicine in 1996 and completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2000. Dr. Bock-Kunz then received additional training in pediatric ophthalmology prior to her arrival in Atchison. She is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and her areas of interest include cataract surgery and surgery of the eyelid; treatment of glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease; pediatric eye problems and eye muscle surgery.

Stephen P. Loughman, OD

Dr. Stephan Loughman began practicing with Eye Specialists of Atchison in 2018. Prior to joining our practice, he spent 25 years caring for the eye care needs of nursing home residents of northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas.
Dr. Loughman is a 1985 graduate of Benedictine College and a 1989 graduate of the University of Houston, College of Optometry. Professionally, he is a member of the Kansas Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. Dr. Loughman and his wife, Barbara, are the parents of nine children. They also have 2 grandchildren. |
Over the past 25 years, he has coached all his children in basketball, baseball, or soccer. He has served as a Cub Scout den leader, Cub Master and as Boy Scout Scoutmaster. He enjoys his Sunday evening softball league, the Kansas City Royals and Kansas City Chiefs.
